Description

This procurement is for the acquisition requirement to evaluate the Main Rotor Blades (MRB) on the Kiowa Warrior (KW) helicopter by conducting live fire tests and evaluations against portions of the Main Rotor Blades. The contractor will be required to provide the technical support to accomplish and analyze the live fire tests. Acquisition for this procurement is restricted to the approved source, Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Approved source is Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (BHTI), P.O. Box 842, Fort Worth, Texas 76101. (See note number 22.)
