Description

1560-01-103-5919, Aircraft Skin, Grumman Aerospace p/n 160D213014-R241 Rev L for use on the A-10A Aircraft. Approved source: Grumman Aerospace. Other than full and open competition. Intent to award against existing BOA with Grumman Aerospace. Critical Application Item. Any mfr other than Grumman Aerospace must submit a complete Source Approval Request package for evaluation in order to be considered for award (see FAR 52.217-9002 and 52.217-9G04. No drawings or sample parts available. Origin inspection required. FOB is origin with stock delivery to New Cumberland, PA. Requested quantity is 15 each. A Letter solicitation will be issued to Grumman Aerospace with solicitation open date of 31 Jul 2001 and a closing date of 31 Aug 2001. Numbered Note 26 applies. If any mfr other than Grumman Aerospace wishes to submit a bid and SAR package, the Contracting Officer will accept requests for a complete solicitation through facsimile.
