Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0222 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334419 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business concerns.This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001- Socket, PN: EC250B4, 30 ea, CLIN 0002 -- Socket, PN: EC250B12, 15 ea, CLIN 0003 -- Nipple, PN: EC255B4, 30 ea, CLIN 0004 -- Nipple, PN: EC255B12, 15 ea. This requirement is sole sourced to Adelwiggins Group, 5000 Triggs Street, Los Angeles, CA 90022. IAW FAR 6.302-1 (a). The Government does not possess the necessary drawings/specifications to allow for open competition. Adelwiggins Group is the orginal equipment manufacturer and has the required proprietary data and replacement parts to ensure the equipment meets the OEM's specifications. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 30 days after award. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
