Description

System Descriptions: Steam manhole 271 to Building 1124 and steam manhole 271 to Building 1125: Provide underground pre-engineered 4" steam piping and 3" condensate piping in seperate conduits. Steam System: 278 gross feet of standard pre-fabricated/preinsulated underground pipe system consisting of a 12.75" diameter steel casing containing one (1) 4" Schedule 40 ERW carbon steel pipe preinsulated with mineral wool insulation. The following fittings shall be prefabricated/preinsulated in a like manner and in all cases factory assembled to straight lengths of pipe: 4 each 90 degree elbows, 4 each end seals, 4 each anchors, guides for placing pipe inside a 16" casing. Condensate System: 278 gross feet of standard pre-fabricated/preinsulated underground pipe system consisting of a 8.625" diameter steel casing containing 1 3" Schedule 30 ERW carbon steel pipe preinsulated with mineral wool insulation. The following fittings shall be pre-fabricated/preinsulated in a like manner and in all cases factory assembled to straight lengths of pipe: 4 each 90 degree elbows, 4 each ends seals, 4 each anchors, guides for placing pipe inside a 12" casing. ** Upon award of contract the vendor shall visit the job site and verify all measurements. **
