Description

The contractor shall provide a passive, ground-based acoustic, seismic, and magnetic sensor system designed to detect, classify, and identify ground vehicles, helicopters, and personnel. The Army Research intends to negotiate with Exensor Technology AB, Lund, Sweden on a non-competitive basis. This is for the Foreign Comparative Test program. The authority and policy of the FCT program stems from Title 10 U.S. Code Section 2350 (g) and DODD 5000.1 and 5000.2R. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes may be faxed to (410) 278-6972.
