Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Comprehensive Sanction Center (CSC) services for male and female offenders in the Jackson, Mississippi area. Location of the facility shall be within the boundaries of the following counties in Mississippi: Hinds, Rankin, Madison, Scott, Yazoo, Copiah, or Simpson. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. Those parties interested in providing these services are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Comprehensive Sanction Center" (CSC)", dated December 2000. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 81% male and 19% female. The estimated number of inmate days are 19,710 for the two-year base period and 9,855 for each of the three one-year option periods. The estimated RFP issue date is August 6, 2001 and the estimated closing date is October 5, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
