Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female offenders in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area. Location of the facility shall be within the boundaries of the following counties in Mississippi: Lamar, Forrest, Harrison or Jackson. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. Those parties interested in providing these services are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC)", dated December 2000. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 80% male and 20% female. The estimated number of inmate days are 14,600 for the two-year base period and 7,300 for each of the three one-year option periods. The estimated RFP issue date is August 6, 2001 and the estimated closing date is October 5, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
