Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to remove existing landscaping vegetation at entire residence perimeter including trees, shrubs and bushes. Disassemble and conserve attached deck materials as necessary to gain access to the work area. Demolish and remove interior basement wall coverings. Install (8) earth anchors at each of four foundation walls, and straighten the foundation walls to a vertical and plumb position. Excavate at exterior foundation walls as necessary to perform the work. Shim building sill plates to level an seal gaps. Inject cracks in the foundation walls with epoxy grout. Backfill and compact the area adjacent to the foundation walls. Slope soil at entire perimeter away from the building at 12:1(H:V). Install landscape geotextile fabric, landscape timbers, and two (2) inches of decorative rock around the entire building perimeter. Replace deck posts, beams and planks removed for construction. Install furring at interior basement walls and cover with 5/8" gypsum wall board, tape, finish and paint. All work for this project shall be completed at two existing and seperate residences, residences #1 and #3, located at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery, in Riverdale, North Dakota. Quote range is $25K to $100K. Request should be submitted by mail out date of July 24, 2001. This acquisition will be open to large and small businesses and award will be issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
