Description

The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia intends to purchase, two (2) spectrum analyzers from Agilent, 395 Pagemill Road, P.O. Box 10395, Palo Alto, Ca 94303. Required spectrum analyzers are replacement items for Government owned Hewlett Packard spectrum analyzers. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Agilent Model number 8563EC spectrum analyzers are required with the following capabilities: Frequency Range: 30 Hz to 26.5Ghz or greater. Frequency Span Range: 0 to 100 Hz to full span. Span Accuracy: greater than 2Mhz x N to the 5th power: +/- 5%. Resolution Bandwidth: Range (-3db): 1 Hz to 1 Mhz in a 1,3,10 sequence and 2 Mhz (3 Mhz at -6db). Accuracy: 1hz to 300khz : +/-10%. 1 Mhz: +/-25%. 2 Mhz: +/- 50%, -25%. Maximum Safe Input Level: Average continuous power :+30 dbm (1 Watt, input attenuation greater than or equal to 10db). Peak Pulse Power: (less than or equal to 10 microseconds pulse width, less than 1% of duty cycle): +50 dbm. Input: Type N 50 ohms. IF input: SMA female 50 ohms. Calibrated Output: BNC 50 ohms. Additional Connectors: Video output BNC 50 ohms. GPIB IEEE-488 bus connector. Electromagnetic Compatibility: meet Mil-Std-461C, part 2. Power Requirement: 115 VAC 60 hz. Weight: Maximum 45 pounds. Software Compatibility: Must be compatible with Hewlett Packard 8563 GPIB command set. COMPATIBILITY: Required spectrum analyzers must be fully compatible with existing test data software program written specifically for Agilent/Hewlett Packard analyzers without requiring a software rewrite. This award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) -- Reference Quote N00178-01-Q-3031. Quotes will only be accepted from authorized Agilent distributors.
