- Description
- The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL), requires Research Support and Demonstration in the Area of Hazardous Building Material Abatement. This research is to be directed toward conducting research demonstrations of technology and parameters for removal of hazardous building material (to include lead-containing paint and asbestos abatement, encapsulation, enclosure, or removal) from exterior and interior wood and industrial structures. Services to be provided will be accomplished by up to a maximum $5,000,000.00 Indefinite Delivery Contract with a maximum per firm-fixed price task order of $500,000.00. Task orders may be issued with the same terms and conditions as the basic Indefinite Delivery Contract, during a period of one year. The contract will include four (4) options for additional twelve (12) month periods in accordance with the terms and conditions of the original contract. Awards are anticipated on a line item basis, with select line items set aside for exclusive participation by Small Business firms or by the 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program. Multiple awards may be made under this solicitation. Request for Proposal (RFP) Number DACA42-01-R-0017 will be issued on or about 23 July 2001 with the closing date on or about 6 September 2001. All responsible sources capable of providing the services requested are encouraged to submit a proposal. Submissions shall be in accordance with the RFP. This solicitation will be available only in electronic format from the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) at the following address: http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/.
