Description

The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) has scheduled a "Minority Business Development Agency National Conference" to begin the evening of August 19th to the afternoon of August 22rd, 2001 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. MBDA has a requirement for an off-site facility to provide a Complete Meeting Package for the participants of the conference during the specified time frame. The Complete Meeting Package will include the following: 1) Lodging accommodations for 130 individuals for three (3) nights (August 19-22, 2001) @ government per diem rate; 2) Lodging accommodations for 10 individuals on August 23, 2001 @ government per diem rate; 3) Meals (i.e Breakfast and Lunch) for 130 individuals for three (3) days (August 20-22, 2001) and Meals (i.e. Dinner/Reception) for 75 individuals on August 19th 2001 @ government per diem rate; 4) General session meeting room (classroom style for 130 individuals), break-out meeting rooms (four (4) rooms to accommodate approximately 26 individuals), room set-ups and AM/PM breaks for three (3) days (August 20-22, 2001); 5) Standard audio-visual equipment, phone lines for computers, use of fax machines, copiers and computers. The off-site facility must be no more than thirty (30) miles from airport and must provide a Complete Meeting Package (as specified above) for the specified time frame. Interested vendors are invited to submit proposals to the address above with proposals to be received no later than seven days from date of this notice. Responses should be faxed to (301) 713-0806.
