Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis an extended range 120 Volt, 60 Hz degausser from Data Security, Inc., 729 Q Street, Lincoln, NE. Data Security, Inc. is the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of this degausser that accommodates all disk drives to 3.5 inches high by 6 inches wide by 10 inches deep, with an effective degaussing field that is 6 inches square by 3.5 inches high. This degausser meets DoD specifications for declassifying 3000 Oe disk media. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract. FOB Destination shall apply. The quotation number is N00178-01-Q-1045. This procurement is DO priority rated.
