Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Division intends to acquire software on a sole source basis from ITSpatial, LLC; 6849 Old Dominion Road, Suite 370, McLean, Virginia 22101. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented by this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal Number is N00178-01-Q-1044. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The requirement is for the acquisition of two Boston Dynamics software PeopleShop Developer's Kit (ITS-PS-DEC); two Boston Dynamics software annual support for ITS-PS-DEV (ITS-PC-DEV-M); one PeopleShop Embedded Runtime License for NT (ITS-PS-ERT-NT); one Vega Software Module SimSmith Vehicle Objects for NT (VG-SSVO-NT); one Vega Software annual Support for VG-SSVO-NT) (VG-SSVO-NT-M); and one PeopleShop Runtime License for IRIX (ITS-PS-ERT-IRIX). This support covers unlimited telephone support, and updates as released. All items must be Y2K compliant with proof provided in the response. The place of delivery is Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100. The Government requires this software to interface with existing modeling and simulation software used in the Technology Evaluation Assessment Modeling And Simulation (TEAMS) Program. ITSpatial is the regional distributor of this software and, therefore, is the only known source capable of providing the required software. Award is being made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The offeror shall include their Cage Code Number, DUNS No, Tax Identification Number, and certification that their company is listed in the Central Contractor Registration Website. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, and 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The addendum in the resulting contract will include Y2K Compliance Provisions and the requirement for a standard commercial warranty of 1 year. 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. DFAR Clause 252.212-7001 applies. Relevant applicable clauses are available for review and may be requested from SD11 Branch, (540) 653-7478. The offeror shall submit their quotation to Code SD118 at fax 540-653-7088. The Government will not issue a written quote as all items are identified in this notice. All items shall be shipped FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448. Closing date is 16 July 2001. Anticipated award date is 18 July 2001.
