Description

Develop a survey research project designed to collect information from recreational anglers who participated in the marine sport fishery off Alaska during 2001 for the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC). Contractor will 1) develop focus groups to pretest survey instruments, 2) improve the questionnaire design, format, and language, 3) administer the survey, and 4) prepare a summary report. AFSC will develop the initial survey/questionnaire . Period of performance will be for period 10/01 -- 4/02. Organizations solicited with experience in National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) databases due to nature of work being performed. Final report will be entered into database according to prescribed AFSC format, then transmitted electronically to the AFSC. Organizations also solicited which are familiar with AFSC/NMFS mission. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
