- Description
- Provide Cessna 206 charter planes in the Gulf of Alaska text: Provide two (2) each Cessna 206 charter planes for the National Marine Mammal Lab (NMML). Purpose of charter planes are to conduct aerial population surveys for harbor seals over the Gulf of Alaska from approximately 158 degrees W on the south side of the Alaska Peninsula to 144 degrees W near Cape Suckling. These surveys are necessary in order to provide an accurate assessment of population size and distribution. Each individual aircraft will initially fly a reconnaissance survey to cover all coastline in their assigned area. One plane will originate from Anchorage, AK and the second plane will originate from Cordova, AK. Period of performance will be 8/15/01 -- 8/25/01. Request solicitation via fax. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
