- Description
- Y Garfield Avenue Storm Water Transport System, Local Flood Protection Project, Olyphant, PA. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS23493/SIC Code 1629, size standard $27,500,000.00. Estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Completion no later than 100 calendar days. Work consists of constructing 2,000 linear feet of storm water system. Size of reinforced concrete pipe varies from 18" to 72". The system includes 38 inlets and an outlet headwall with a riprap embankment. Project also includes a 1 " surface milling, tack coat, and full width overlay of Garfield Avenue. The project will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. Solicitation to be issued o/a 12 June 2000. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be web site. This solicitation will not be issued in paper.
