Description

The project consists of the installation of a concrete water control structure, single, double and triple barrel box culverts, significant portions of Waterways A and B, and supporting features including safety fencing and establishment of vegetation, which are components of the flood protection portions of the Kagman Watershed Project, Kagman Peninsula, Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Estimated quantities of the major items of work are: Excavation, 15,400 Cu. Meter; Earthfill and Backfill, 4,936 Cu. Meter; Drainfill, Type I (coarse), 846 Cu. Meter; Drainfill, Type II (fine), 1,010 Cu. Meter; Reinforced Concrete, 1,206 Cu. Meter; Loose Rock Riprap, 320 Cu. Meter; Grouted Rock Riprap, 520 Cu. Meter; Grout, 182 Cu. Meter; Chain Link Safety Fence (1830 mm (6 ft.) high), 386 Meter; Metal Beam Guard Railing, 240 Meter; Asphalt Paving (Kagman Road), 290 Sq. Meter; and Lump Sum Items for Mobilization and Demobilization, Traffic Control & Detour, Contractor Quality Control, Kagman Road Detour, and Field Office. All work shall be performed in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price and the NAICS code for this acquisition is 234990. Performance period is 570 calendar days, which includes 164 calendar days for Phase I and 406 calendar days for Phase II. This acquisition is unrestricted. Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned and Women-Owned businesses are highly encouraged to participate.
