Description

Furnish and deliver F.O.B. Destination to Massena, NY approximately 66,000 board feet of Ekki (Lophira Procera) timbers. Sizes and quantities as follows: 14 in. x 10.25 in. x 10 ft. with exposed heart, beveled edges -- 240 pieces; 14 in. x 13.25 in. x 10 ft. exposed heart, beveled edges -- 100 pieces; 8 in. x 10.25 in. x 10 ft. clear wood, unbeveled edges (squared) -- 50 pieces. Delivery is required by April 1, 2002. Earlier deliveries will be accepted if cost savings. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The solicitation will be available for downloading from www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 08/03/01. Hard copies may be requested by fax to (315) 764-3235 or e-mail to plw@sls.dot.gov. Response date for receipt of bids will be 09/04/01. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation.
