Description

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals from the Washington Metropolitan Area Hotels for hotel services and sleeping and conference rooms necessary to conduct grant peer review meetings. The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months with three 12 months options years. This acquisition will result in an award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 13.5 and Part 12. The contractor shall provide sleeping rooms for approximately 1,871 peer reviewers over a period of 12 months, conference room space (large enough to hold approximately 44-55 people at certain times, long and short term storage space for equipment and other items, and parking for local travelers. The contractor shall have available business facilities for reviewers and government staff for use at normally commercial accepted hotel charges. Facilities should include a copy and fax machine. The contractor shall provide shuttle service within a five mile radius, restaurant service including room service and access to a restaurant within the hotel. The schedule of the Peer Review for FY 2002 will begin on November 27, 2001 and is projected to conclude mid June 2003. Solicitation will be issued on or about August 6, 2001. The due date for cost and Part 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the technical proposal is due September 7, 2001. Part 5 of the technical proposal includes a site visit, which will take place on or about the week of September 10 through the 14, 2001. TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
