Description

Provide lightweight modular berths and related items in support of the NAVSEA Habitability Improvement Program. All items shall be manufactured and inspected in accordance with NAVSEA Type Drawing 804-5959312, Rev. A. All items are to be packed and shipped to the Habitability Material Staging Center, Chesapeake, VA. All items furnished shall be delivered in accordance with FAR 52.247-29 entitled "F.O.B. Origin". An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Firm-Fixed Price type contract is being considered. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options. It will be awarded using Price and Merit evaluation criteria. This procurement is a Small Business Set-Aside. Proposal closing date is tentatively set for 30 August 2001. When the solicitation is available, all contractors who have submitted a request of interest will be notified.
