Description

The contractor shall furnish certified officials for all scheduled intramural, recreational and tournament by providing a schedule of officials to the athletic director on a monthly basis. Sports to be officiated are: soccer, flag football, softball (slow pitch), basketball, and volleyball. A minimum age of eighteen for officials and sixteen for scorekeeper shall be enforced for the period 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 in accordance with the Statement of Work to be attached to the Request For Quote. Anticipated issue date is 30 July 2001 with anticipated date for receipt of quotes 24 August 2001. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for VERY SMALL BUSINESS concerns, headquartered in the New Orleans LA Small-Business Administration District. (DEFINITION: IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 19.904, OFFEROR MAY NOT HAVE MORE THAN 15 EMPLOYEES AND MAY NOT HAVE AN AVERGE ANNUAL RECEIPTS THAT EXCEEDS $1 MILLION. OFFERORS MUST INDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS BEING A VERY SMALL BUSINESS. If there is no offer received from a VERY SMALL BUSINESS concern, this acquisition is then 100% set-aside for a small business concern. If there is no offer received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for (1) 100% SMALL BUSINESS CONSIDERATION OR (2) FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION IMPORTANT NOTICE: You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration database. (REF DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration) The applicable NAICS Code is 713990 with the small business size standard being $5.0 Million. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. AWARD OF THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE MADE FOR THE PERIOD 1 OCTOBER 2001 THROUGH 30 SEPTEMBER 2002 BASED ON THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
