Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide VA Hospital Tomah, Wi. the services of one (1) Psychiatrist M.D. that is Board Certified/eligible within 4 years of completion of post graduate training. The Psychiatrist would be providing services at the Tomah, Wisconsin VA Medical Center. The Psychiatrist's duties include, but are not limited to, admission/discharge, treatment and professional direction of patient care, outpatient care, Compensation and Pension exams, and psychiatric consultations. The work setting for these services includes a 16-bed acute/intermediate admission unit, 17-bed long-term psychiatric inpatient unit, 31-bed long-term psychiatric inpatient unit (NHCU), and a 45 bed PRRTP program. Normal work hours are 8:00AM-4: 30PM, Monday through Friday (with hour lunch break). There may be limited evening, weekend or holiday coverage required on a rotating schedule with the other psychiatrists on staff. Period of Performance is for a period of six months starting on August 27,2001. Estimated award date is August 20,2001. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Cost per Hour to be all- inclusive (all labor, supervision, transportation, per diem, etc.). Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about July 23, 2001. This solicitation is issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof.
