THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY -- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Texas A&M University , College Station, Texas 77843. The purpose of this procurement is to develop and implement training activities for health professionals and promotores (community health workers), in Hidalgo County, Texas, on safe drinking water concepts. Additionally, this project will begin to explore the potential information sharing that could lead to the development of a tracking system for reportable and no reportable water related illnesses in Hidalgo County, Texas. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 15. The period of performance for this project is 12 months with an option to extend for an additional 12 months period. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. See Note 22
