Description

INSPECTION, TESTING, AND MAINTENANCE OF INSTALLED AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM AND HALON SYSTEMS. The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to inspect, test, maintain and repair on an annual basis installed automatic fire alarm and halon suppression systems at Offutt AFB in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and operation. The scope of work for this contract includes all equipment, wiring and connections to form a working system. All of the services shall be performed in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria, (UFC 3-600-02) dated 1 Jan 01. The Contractor is required to develop quality control procedures for the performance of services and inspections. Duration of contract is 1 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02 with four one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options. The SIC code that applies to the principal nature of the acquisition is 7382; the North American Industry Classification Code is 561621. The small business size standard for this procurement is $9.0 million. This is 100% set aside for small business. The closing date and time for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notice and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (Fed Biz Opps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must be registered with Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. Lack of CCR registration will make a bidder ineligible for award. The solicitation will be issued on or about 1 August 2001.
