Description

The Naval Regional Contracting Center, Singapore, intends to solicit proposals through full and open competition for husbanding services to support U.S. Navy ships during their port visits to Saipan and Palau, using Commercial Items procurement procedures. The services which may be ordered will include but are not limited to pilot and tug services, linehandlers, brow rental, potable water, forklift and crane services, garbage removal, sewage removal, ground transportation (sedan, van and bus), fleet freight delivery, dedicated launch services, phone rental, patrol boat and guard services). Period of performance is for one base year and two one-year options. The solicitation will be issued using simplified acquisition procedures authorized by FAR Part 13.5. It is intended that award will be made by best value best means using trade off analysis to the company whose offer is most advantageous to the government with price, past performance and corporate experience considered. The award will be an Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract.
