Description

S-The Immigration and Naturalization Service has a requirement for professional unarmed security guard service for the Port Isabel Security Processing Center, Los Fresnos, Texas, and surrounding area. This is a 100% set-aside for nationwide certified 8-a firms. The NAIC code is 561612, and the Small Business size standard is $9 million. A single award will be made from this solicitation. Performance shall be for a Base Period beginning from date of start of performance for one year, plus the availability of four (4) one-year option periods. In addition to the standard business license requirements, potential offerors are notified that they must possess a license to perform security work in the state of Texas prior to submitting an offer to this solicitation. Also, any 8-a firm interested in performing this work as part of a mentoring arrangement must be certified by the SBA prior to submitting an offer to this solicitation.
