Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Renovation of the Bluff Lake Water Control Structure located at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, Brooksville, MS . Work includes, but is not limited to; Renovation of the in-take end of existing concrete box structure, install stop-logs, rails and impervious liner, excavate levee, construct seepage block ring, backfill, compaction and lab testing. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 234990. The size standard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 7/31/01. Requests for RFQ shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401811Q096, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 100 days from the Notice To Proceed. The anticipated award date is around 9/11/01. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
