Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the procurement of Engineering and Technical Services to update 74D750085-1001 and 74D750514-1001 Technical Data Package. In addition, twenty (20) 74D750514-1001 Mod Kits for the Data Link Pod Maintenance Stand, two (2) Door I/R Adapter (P/N 74D110214-1001) and four sets (4) Internal Cases (for 74D110223 -1001 S/Ns 0001-0004) each set of "internal cases" shall consist of the following part numbers: 74D111438-1001; 74D111438-1003; 74D111438-1005; 74D111439-1001; 74D111439-1003; 74D111439-1005; 74D111440-1001; 74D111440-1003; 74D111440-1005 Case Set Storage-Case Assembly. The Government intends to procure from Boeing, Saint Louis, Missouri under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). Boeing is the designer, developer and integrator of the F-18 aircraft. Boeing is the only firm with the proprietary knowledge, experience and technical data required to fulfill these requirements. Firms that recognize and produce the required items described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Navy anticipates a firm fixed-price contract will be awarded. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
