Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The proposed contract is issued on a sole source basis to Northwestern Motors Company, 1125 Starr Ave, Eau Claire WI 54703. Northwestern Motors is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the Military Version Model 60 Tractor. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0232 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 336319 and the size standard is 750 employees. These parts are for the Model 60D Aircraft Towing Tractor. Delivery is required F.O.B. NAVAIR SEFAC Site 24, El Centro CA within 90 days after award. All items will be shipped to NAVAIR SEFAC, El Centro CA. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Along with you offer, provide references from a minimum of three Government/State/Local Agencies in which you have manufactured same/similar items. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
