Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a hydraulic swage press machine capable of swaging wire rope fittings up to 2.5 inch diameter. Swage press machine to include various sizes of dies, which will be listed in the solicitation. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 23 Jul 01. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 22 days from this announcement. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to jennifer_e_santiago@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. No notes apply. =20
