Description

SOLICITATION NO. N68335-01-R-0356 WILL NOT BE MAILED TO CONTRACTORS. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR Homepage www.navair.navy.mil Note 1 -- 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS (NAICS Code 333999). The solicitation is for a firm fixed price quantity of two (2) large front-loading Parts Washers. They shall essentially be a cleaning cabinet with spray nozzles along the interior walls and ceiling that blasts an environmentally safe detergent in an aqueous solution onto soiled parts. The system shall be entirely closed-loops, with no water discharge. The combination of high temperature and strong blast pressure shall enable the washer to remove the contaminants from the parts. The units shall incorporate features including purification filtration system, steam exhaust systems, oil skimmer and separator, seven day timer, parts basket and bag filter, as described in the purchase description 4825CSM01-06 which is for two separate and distinct units. The equipment shall be in accordance with Navy purchase description 4825CSM01-06. The systems described will be brand name or equivalent to the Better Engineering Model F-60000-LXP, with additional optional features. This requirement shall be fulfilled by supplying "commercial items" as defined in Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The procurement also provides provisions for submission of installation information and other data. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government; technical, past experience, past performance and price considered.
