Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP); a written solicitation will not be issued. The Food and Drug is soliciting for a Micromass, Incorporated or equal (1) VB-QT2 Q-T of 2 Hybrid Quadrupole/Orthogonal Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer and Data System, including: Quadrupole MS-1 Mass Analyzer, Hexapole Collision Cell w/up to +/- 205 eV Collision Energy, Intermediate detector for tuning, Orthogonal Acceleration Time of Flight MS-2 Mass Analyzer, Mass range up to mz/20,000 for MS/MS analysis, Chevron dual microchannel plate detector w/3.6 GHz time to digital converter (TDC) ion counting system, Negative and positive facilities, Differentially pumped automatic vacuum system, ZSPRAY Atmospheric Pressure Ionization LC-MS Interface ? must support both MegaFlow-Z and Nanoflow-Z Electrospray operation and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization operation, MassLynx-NT instrument control and data acquisition interface hardware. (1.2) V-AP250A MassLynx-NT Mass Spectrometer Workstation Hardware including: Compaq Professional Workstation AP250, ELSA Gloria Synergy Ii AGP Graphics controller 8 MB SGRAM, Compaq 17? (27) QT-ERP Special Q-Tof2 Enhanced Resolution Performance Option (to be upgraded prior to shipment). (28) High throughput protein identification proteomics searching software package. (29) QT-M1 Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization Add On to API source for Q-Tof Series, FOB Destination within 120 days after award of a purchase order. Interested offeror?s shall submit a descriptive literature along with their cost quotation. Offerors who are offering other than the Micromass system, shall submit descriptive literature in sufficient detail as to demonstrate that the system offered meets are exceeds the Micromass specifications. Award will made to the vendor who submits the lowest price system that meets all technical specifications. The Government may make its decision on the basis of initial quotations received and not have discussions. Therefor each initial quotation should contain the offeror?s best terms from both a price and technical standpoint. This is Request from Proposal number 222-01-2006(P).
