- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for four (4) Sequential Samplers for Air Pollution Measurements. The samplers shall meet the following minimum specification requirements: 1) Sequential sampling of at least 24 sorbent tubes without operator input; 2) Selection of sampling series, sampling times, and volumetric flow rate must be programmable; 3) The sequential samplers must fill two (2) sorbent tubes simultaneously for purposes of redundant sampling (a quality control requirement); 4) The sequential samplers must be designed for outdoor use and have an independent (battery) power supply; and 5) The samplers must be designed to accommodate sorbent tubes for ammonia, inorganic acids, aldehydes, sulfur compounds, and volatile organic compounds. Additionally, a total of 500 sorbent tubes for ammonia will be required for the samplers. *** This combined synopsis/solicitation announcement constitutes the only solicitation. No other written solicitation will be issued. Proposals shall be received no later than 4:00 p.m. local time Washington, D.C. on August 6, 2001. *** The point of contact for this requirement is Mr. Glenwood D.
