Description

Solicitation Number: N00421-01-R-0306. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland, Information Management Department (IMD) intends to procure contractor support for operations and maintenance (O&M) services to support the government owned 5ESS Digital Switching System via Full and Open Competition. The 5ESS Digital Switching System includes the following components and their related equipment, which shall be included in this required for O&M: OCTEL Overture 350 Voice Mail Systems, 120 port Compunetix Mini-Contex Conference Bridge, Telecommunications Management Associates (TMA) MANAKON Network Management Systems (NMS) to include only software maintenance and software upgrades, Lineage 2000 Standard Power Supply including JellCell Batteries, Conveyant Operator Control. The Contractor shall provide OEM 5ESS Digital Switching System certified maintenance personnel who are experienced in the field of trouble shooting and repair of the 5ESS Digital Switching System and related equipment and systems listed in the contract Statement of Work. Maintenance services under the Statement of Work shall be provided seven days a week for 24 hours each day. Maintenance personnel shall be on call at all times and knowledgeable point-of-contact shall be provided who can act upon all requests for emergency and routine services. Type of Maintenance includes, but not limited to, (1) Preventive Maintenance (2) Remedial Maintenance (3) Route Maintenance (4) Emergency Maintenance and (5) Serious Outage. The Contractor shall perform all duties indicated in the Statement of Work at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River and the Webster Field Annex. The Contractor must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance prior to award of the contract. All inquiries must be addressed via e-mail (electronic submission only) to coombscg@navair.navy.mil.
