Description

Prior to entering into a one known source contract, the forest service would like to hear from any qualified firms able to perform the following service. This project is being performed for the Pacific NW Research Station, Seattle Forestry Sciences Lab. It is for advisory and assistance service to configure meteorological data on the 2000 wild fires in Montana using the Penn State/NCAR MM5 model (the most applicable physics option to answer the specific research questions). Testing will occur on-site at the Forestry Sciences Laboratory. The project includes project preparation, model simulations and verification, analysis and a final report.
