Description

This is a request for information for a LOW TEMPERATURE FREEZER AND STORAGE OPTIONS FOR SCIENCE SAMPLE PAYLOADS IN SUPPORT OF THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION. This request is for planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition. In support of the International Space Station Program, NASA/JSC, Thermal Systems and Engineering Support Branch is investigating low temperature freezer and storage options for each of eight (8) types of science sample payloads. See attached files for detailed specifications. Prospective offerors are invited to sumbit comments or questions to: Michele Ladrach/BH13. In responding, reference 9-BH13-26-01-29P. Comments may be forwarded to Michele Ladrach via electronic transmission or by facsimile transmission. This solicitation/synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the review. Any questions regarding this announcement should be directed to the identified point of contact.
