Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) formerly The Health Care Financing Administration intends to procure on a sole source basis to The University of Texas Health and Science Center at Houston, 7000 Fannin Street, 17th floor, Houston, Texas 77030, hold a conference entitled "Hispanic Health Services Conference -- Improving Health Disparities and Health Outcomes". This a partnership between CMS and The University of Texas to 1)enhance the capacity of Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) to work with CMS, 2)share information aabout CMS's Hispanic Health Services Research Grants Program, and 3) discus strategies to address the differences in health status and disparities related to the Hispanic American communities. The confence will be held at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in January of 2002. All responsible sources may submit capability statements for considerstion to the Agency at the above address. If no responses are received within 15 calendar days from the published date of this notice, a purchase order shall be awarded to University of Texas. See Numbered Note 22
