Description

Request for Information: The Munitions Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/MN) develops advanced munitions technologies for air-delivered applications. The Ordnance Integration Division (AFRL/MNMI) is interested in receiving information in the format of a white paper on new and innovative advanced munitions technologies. These technologies may be applied to munitions under development as well as to systems in current operation. These technologies shall offer substantially increased potential in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Miniature Munitions, Advanced Enhanced Energetic Materials, Reactive/Energetic Structures for Munitions, Munitions for Urban Combat, Munitions for Target Functional Defeat, Munitions for Target Facility Denial, Advanced Directional Munitions, Penetrator Erosion, Impact Velocity Enhancements and Penetrator Structural Enhancements. White paper responses should identify high-risk, high-payoff technologies that will substantially increase munitions performance. Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) efforts in the above listed technology areas are also of interest.
