Description

The Army requires a contract to dredge and line lagoon at Ft. Stewart, GA. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following: drain and clean existing lagoon; remove and dispose of sediments; re-grade interior of lagoon; construct new interior reinforced concrete dividing wall; construct new inlet and outlet structures; construct new effluent piping and connection to existing 24-inch filter bed influent pipe; construct new 30-inch influent pipe stub and cap for future connection of new influent piping; furnish and install geonet and geomembrane liner; construct new 30-inch piping; furnish and install new 15-inch bypass pipes. The magnitude of this project is between $1M and $5M. Project is solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS/SIC 23499/1629. The small business size standard is $27.5M. Performance is expected to be completed within 210 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. A bid guarantee will be required. A site visit will be scheduled and set forth in the solicitation. Interested parties are highly encouraged to attend this site visit.
