Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR Part 13.5) to The Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics (COPAFS),1429 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 to develop and coordinate the logistics and content for a conference on national population projections to be held in October 2001. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is past performance in planning and holding conferences and seminars dealing with statistical research and policy development issues. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
