Description

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, in collaboration with the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking qualified offerors to assist them in conducting an assessment of the uses of Health People Objectives and Leading Health Indicators by several target audiences. The objectives for this assessment are to assess how Healthy People 2010 is being utilized by its "customers" in the diverse fields of public health, in general and for specific components; who is or is not using it; and how diverse user groups report that the Health People initiatives over time have contributed to their work in health promotion. This procurement is a full and open competition. The period of performance will be 24 months. A firm fixed price type contract is anticipated. The date of issue for this RFP will be approximately fifteen days after this announcement is published. Proposals will be due 30 days after issuance date of the RFP. It is anticipated that the solicitation document will be available on the DHHS website at within 5 business days of issuance of the paper copies.
