Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires a responsible contractor to operate its dining facility and to provide catering and conference services at its headquarters building in Washington, DC. Catering and conference services include 1) special functions such as breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, receptions; 2) coffee to pantry service in about 28 pantries; 3) conference room services, including furniture setups/reconfigurations in about six rooms and catering in about 36 rooms; 4) vending machine operation on all nine floors of the building. There are approximately 850 OCC employees and contractor personnel working in the headquarters building. The dining facility hours are from 7:00am to 2:00pm and the catering/conference services hours are from about 6:30am to 5:00pm. Special functions may be held in the evenings until about 11:00pm. The base period of performance for the contract will begin January 1, 2002 and end September 30, 2002. There will be four option years which will carry the contract through September 30, 2006, if exercised. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: Send an email to Thora Stanwood to request a copy of the solicitation. OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation mid August at www.eps.gov. The solicitation will contain the details of the requirement, the instructions for submitting a proposal, and how the proposals will be evaluated. This requirement will be procured using full and open competition. The primary service code is S203, Food Services. The NAICS code is 722310 ($15.0), Food Service Contractors. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding a contract on or before November 30, 2001. *****
