Description

Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with the installation of an air conditioning system in the existing heating and ventilation system of building P-10715, Fort Drum, NY. Principal features include providing 21 variable volume control units; providing 3 air handling unit motors with variable frequency drive control to replace existing motors; providing 3 water cooling/heating coils in existing air handling units; and providing 2 air-cooled chillers on concrete pads on exterior grounds next to the existing building in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Construction". This procurement is Set-Aside for HUBZone concerns pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 19.13, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE) Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235110. This procurement is subject to availability of funds and is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 6, 2001. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible HUBZONE small business concerns may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided; however, if you are unable to access our website, please call or email the Contract Specialist listed above and arrangements will be made to forward the electronic package to you.
