Description

Completely prepare the site furnish labor, material, equipment to replace roofs on Buildings #2,4,5,6 & 7 at the James E Van Zandt VA Medical Center Altoona PA. Work includes but not limited to Demolotion, Rough Carpentry, Flashiing Sheet Metal and Gutter, Roof Insulation, Elastomer Sheet for Roofing, and Ashpalt Shingles, Etc. Work must be completed within one hundred eight days (180) from receipt of noti e to proceeed. Bid packages must be requested in writing. Paymnet of $50 non-refundable fee per solicitation package (specifications & drawings) must be received in the contracting office before packages is mailed. Checks must be made payable to Dept of Veterans Affairs. Estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS for this project is 233320. Issue date is Aug 10,2001. Pre-Bid Conference will be held Aug 24, 2001 at 2:30 pm local time, Building #2 Room 103. Bid Opening Date is Sep 10,2001 at 2:30 pm local time.
