Description

The Albuquerque Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for the installion of a new ceiling in the Gymnasium. The existing John-Manville "moneyclip" ceiling shall remain with any loose materials being secured and the existing grid system inspected and refastened as needed. The new ceiling should be an armstrong "Armatuff" ceiling system or equivelant. Installation shall be accomplished using installers certified by the manufacturer of the material. A walk through of the job site is required of all bidders. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply. Work should be completed within 45 days of the award of contract. Contractor must comply with all rules of The Job Corps Center and any applicable rules of the United States Department of Labor. Contractor must provide all applicable insurance as required by law. Bid bond equal to the amount of the bid shall be required. A walk through of the project is scheduled for August 6, 2001 at 2:00PM. Prospective bidders may schedule individual walk throughs any time after July 26, but before August 8, 2001. All bids must be received at the Center before 4:00PM on August 15, 2001. Bids will be opened at 2:00PM on August 16, 2001. Bid packets can be requested after July 26, 2001.
