- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, mobilization, and demobilization for the construction of a 2,182 GSF new addition and alterations to an existing 5,058 GSF single story medical/dental clinic. Work involves general building construction including masonry/concrete and interior demolition and removal, soil excavation and backfill for steel pipe and timber piles, reinforced concrete pile caps, grade beams and foundation walls with mud slab crawl space. Building exterior work includes brick reinforced masonry with wood truss joists with steel stud walls, modified bituminous membrane roofing with rigid roof insulation, steel, aluminum and wood doors and frames with new door hardware to match existing and aluminum framed glazing. Interior finish work includes gypsum wall board, ceramic tile, resilient tile flooring, suspended acoustical tile ceilings. Mechanical work includes new plumbing fixtures and water, waste and vent piping, variable air volume terminal boxes, VFD fans with hot water heating coils and radiant ceiling panels, direct expansion split cooling systems and direct digital controls. Electrical work includes interior and underground wiring, lighting, telecommunication cabling and interior public address/paging and fire alarm systems. Estimated range is $500,000 to $1 million. Duration of the project is 12 months from contract award. NAICS Code 233320 applies to this procurement. Attention: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
