Description

Contractor will completely prepare the site, furnish labor, material and eqiupment to replace roofs on Buildings 2,4,5,6 & 7 at the James E VanZandt VA Medical Center Altoona PA. Work includes but not limited to Demolition, Rough Carpentry, Flashing, Sheet Metal and Gutters, Roof Insulation, Elastomer Sheet Roofing, and Asphalt Shingles, Etc. Work must be completed within one hundred and eighty days (180) from receipt of notice to proceed. Bid packages must be requested in writing. Payment of $50 non-refundable fee per solicitation package (Specifications & Drawings) must be received in the contracting office before package is mailed. Checks must be made payable to Dept of Veterans Affairs. Estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS for this project is 235610. Issue date is Aug 10,2001. Pre-Bid Conference will be Aug 24, 2001 at 2:30pm local time Bldg 2, Room 103. Bid opending date is Sep 10, 2001 at 2:30 pm local time.
