Description

The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of 93 each Shaped Charge warheads, shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon High Explosive Anti-Armor (SMAW HEAA) MK124 Mod 0, Part Number 82A5027A2750N-D34. Drawings are available to U.S Government contractors upon written request. The liners for these warheads are government-furnished equipment and will be shipped to the appropriate address of the winning contractor. The government intends to purchase these warheads on a Brand Name or Equal basis. The manufacturer of these warheads is General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical System, East Camden, AR 71711-1212. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Interested firms have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing via FAX 410-278-6522 to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. The Government will award on the basis determined most advantageous to the Government, delivery, price, and/or other factors determined to be in the best interest of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. *****
