Description

The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement to Lifesaving Systems Corp., 220 Elsberry Road, Apollo Beach, FL 33572-2289 for the following items: Life Preserver/Survival Vest(LPSV)(QTY 130 EA),Ream Kit for preserver/survival vest(QTY 130 EA), CO2 Cylinder 33-Gram(QTY 130 EA) and Green ?A? PIN Indicator( QTY 90 EA). LPSV must have been tested and approved per ALCOAST 227/01, COMDTNOTE 10470. This acquisition will be solicited as 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 453998. The small business size standard is $5 million annually. The contract type will be a firm-fixed price. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Lifesaving Systems Corp. NO TELEPHONE INQURIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Aug 2001, and closing on or about 24 Aug 2001. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
