Description

Due to technical problems, Military Sealift Command is unable to display active solicitations via the MSC website. The Surge Project Office, Military Sealift Command in Washington, D.C., currently has an open solicitation to acquire layberth services for seven Large Medium Speed Roll On/Roll Off (LMSR) ships (four lots) on the U.S. East Coast and U.S. Gulf for five years (a three-year base period plus two one-year option periods) with performance periods beginning in 2001 through 2003. The layberth site locations will be restricted as follows: two LMSRs (one lot) on the U.S. Atlantic coast, no further north than the Port of New York; two LMSRs (one lot) on the U.S. Atlantic coast, no further north than Narragansett Bay, RI; one LMSR (one lot) on the U.S. coast of the Gulf of Mexico, comprising of the states of TX, LA, MS, AL, and FL; and two LMSRs on the U.S. coast of the Gulf of Mexico, comprising of the states of TX, LA, MS, AL, and FL (small business set-aside).
